Have been using them for years and had successful protests every year. This year TCAD dismissed my case due to a technicality. Most others would have left it at that - but NTPS spent several months chasing it down, petitioning for a new hearing and ultimately getting another major reduction, which will result in a $2500 tax reduction for this year.
Ryan was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He patiently explained their services and helped me understand the difference between NTPTS and mega corps like Ownwell or other shady tax protest firms that are constantly bombarding me with mailers. He even walked me through filing my homestead exemption during our call! Based on this outstanding customer service experience, I will be giving their property tax appeal services a shot for 2026. I haven't had a chance to work as a client with North Texas Property Tax Services (as I don't live in the area just yet), however, I can say that Jeremy Story is a truly delightful person. He is 100% the type of advisor that I'd like to have on my side and I thank him for all of his informal advice/counsel.
This is not a real business and must be some kind of scam. I hired them to protest my property taxes, and they didn't do anything. They filed nothing with the county, never followed up with me and told me they went to the protest hearing so I didn't have to. Their website makes this claim as well, and this is a lie! They were a no-show at the appraisal office, and I don't think anyone there actually does any work. For this reason, I lost out on a settlement offer.
