Trying to pay my water bill with North Shelby Water Co is the most maddening thing I do all month! I thought they had bought up to the 21st century when they changed their billing and payment options, but oh no! That would be expecting too much! For one, the web site we have to use in order to schedule any kind of payment isn't listed anywhere except the ONE letter we received at the time of the change. The customer service is horrible. All of the office staff are very rude and unprofessional! They definitely charge what they want. One month my bill is 12.00 and the next it's 42.00. I'm never home so the same amount of water gets used every month which is very little. I don't know how they sleep at night knowing what they do to people in the community!

Bills come in tiny slips which sometimes get lost in the mail, and then you have to pay a delinquent notice because you didn't technically receive the bill the first time. On top of it all, you can't pay online, and there's no phone number on the bill itself. Get out of the stone age and get with the program! As of today, this is the 2nd time that my neighborhood has had its water shut off with NO NOTICE. It's Monday morning and NOBODY CAN SHOWER, BRUSH THEIR TEETH...Do you expect us all to go to work smelling like yesterday... read more

I have been with this company for 16 years now. Unfortunately I can't change them. They are rude and they charge what they want to charge. They need to update their system. They also need a new manager! She is hateful!! I live in a small house with two people. My bill is sometimes more than $60. They gotcha and they know it. I refuse to go up their and pay my bill! I totally agree with the other reviews. Every bill I have I can check online or pay my bill but the water company . They really need to update there business.

I think that it is ridiculous that the only way to pay your water bill is to either drop it off in person (Not open on weekends) or to call in a payment. Every other bill that has to be paid can be paid online except my water bill. I can't even check how much my bill is online as they don't even have a website. When you work the hours that they are open it is very difficult to call in and check on things such as bills that never came (this happens a lot) or to pay the bill.
