My family and I have been crabbing at this jetty since 1990s. We catch a lot of crabs out here. It was great visiting again!
There is a bait camp on site. Parking is not good. Make sure you get there early.
I love this jetty, it goes on for miles and miles. If you catch it at high tide you can fish off of the west side and crabbing on the east side has much calmer water. If you're here at low tide it is a good place to take a few pictures. Lots of hermit crabs here and blue crabs. The bait shop has everything you need too.
Cars can be ferryed by boat, which is more suitable for bringing kids to catch crabs, but we didn't catch any of them.
Caught on live shrimp using Akios Spyro RS 6000 Reel and Blackfin Solo Rod.
