My dog Raffy needed physio following an Ischemic Myelopathy (stroke of the spinal cord). Lucinda was fabulous in offering treatment options to rehabilitate Raffy to be able to walk again, comfortably and be free from pain. Starting with stretching program and hydrotherapy Raffy improved week on week. Amazing recovery and friendly approach, Raffy loved her sessions. 5 star service from a dedicated and knowledgeable practitioner.
We have had Bella to several sessions with Lucinda to improve her muscle strength in her back legs to aid her recovery from an ACL injury. Lucinda is so attentive to Bella's needs and she has made amazing progress! Would recommend to anyone looking to help their dogs pre or post op or for conditioning work. EDIT -- following the sad recent passing of our girl, it's with heartfelt thanks to Lucinda for giving us another 2 years of time with Bella. Without her skill, knowledge and devotion, Bella would not have recovered to th... read more
I brought my old boy Riley to Lucinda for rehab after tplo surgery to his hind leg. Riley also has problems with his front left elbow. In addition he is quite nervous and doesn't really respond to strangers. Lucinda was so patient with him to win him over so that he would allow her to treat him. Several weeks later, after physio and laser treatment, Riley is his best self again. Both Riley and I couldn't be happier. Have already (and continue to) recommend Lucinda.
My 8 years old Lhasa Apso Jack developed a slipped disc some weeks ago, he had spinal surgery as an emergency and the neurosurgeon was not able to predict how successful long term the surgery would be. We were lucky to be recommended the amazing Lucinda. Jack has had weekly visits for Hydrotherapy since that time and his recovery has been amazing. It would be difficult now to determine that there had been anything wrong with him. How wouldn't you describe Lucinda.... friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, bubbly with a passi... read more
So pleased that our vet referred us to Lucinda at North east veterinary physio. I was so worried about our dog Sadie’s mobilitly following a sprain, she literally could hardly put her leg down. I was put at ease immediately at our first appointment, “I can fix her” Lucinda said. Wow she is amazing. We started off with physio, then moved to hydrotherapy. Cannot believe the difference. Also providing home exercises and guidance for inbetween appointments. The difference from a few months ago to now is unbelievable and I am for... read more
