This is hands down the best dive shop in San Diego. The owner and Julius (the two people I mainly interact with) are extremely knowledgeable, highly trained, and passionate about diving.
Nothing has changed in years. Exceptional service, great inventory and the staff is always top notch. Wanna learn to dive, this is the place to gett'er done !!!
At first I was excited to find a place to take lessons with my daughter. Then I found out that the owner lied to me about pricing and rules. when I canceled the classes, well in advice, he tried to charge me for service fees without going over them with me first. when I disputed them he forged my signature on a receipt and lied about my approval of the charges!!! what a scammer. I wouldn't trust these people with my training or my credit card information ever again.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting North County Scuba Center in San Diego, and it was a standout experience from start to finish. Greg, the owner, is the kind of down-to-earth, knowledgeable professional that every diver and water enthusiast hopes to meet. As a fellow small business owner from out of town, I really appreciated that he was in the shop the day after Christmas, ready to help, and genuinely invested in my needs.
