This my school, and it is the best I’ve ever had
Amazing school district. Caring teachers and staff. I've not come across a better school district with the opportunities they offer students in public education. From what I've experienced, they maintain a pretty high bar on multiple levels serving this community for the better. They cleary care about the students. I only wish I could have lived here growing up and attended their schools as a kid. All heroes in my book.
I worked for this school district for one school year. Initially I really liked the district and I enjoyed my job. I was a para educator in a SLC k-2 classroom. I did well in my position and at my location. Then the unexpected happened. As mandatory reporters, my lead teacher had to make a report. Somehow, even with it supposed to be legally confidential - the parent was notified that it was our school who had made the report. The parent retaliated, and the district allowed it.
