My mom just got there today. She's very unhappy. Because of her injury she needs a special walker, and they don't have it, so she's bedridden all weekend. The mattress is lumpy and uncomfortable she has no privacy. Not good
This facility has a lot of good things about it. Their P.T. department are top notch and for the most part staff here is just spread very thin! Don't expect to get immediate care like the hospital. I am still not satisfied with how things are prioritized as far as patient needs and wound care but my husband left much stronger thanks to the great P.T. department! Shout out to nurse Lily who is the best and most empathetic person on staff!
River Park was a wonderful facility for my husband’s rehabilitation for 3 mos. We felt very welcomed and cared for by Linda & Brinkley in the reception area. He really benefited from the physical therapy and enjoyed his therapist Jacob tremendously. Vickie was very helpful in guiding, referral information and helping with a smooth discharge. My husband is not getting the care he needs. He is a chronic pain patient and not getting his meds when he's supposed to take them. He's been on them for over 10 years and is going to start having withdrawls here soon! He was brought to River Park for therapy and wound care after the third surgery in 3 months. He has not gotten any infections, till now, because he sits in his own feces for over an hour at times, then it gets in his wound! Wound care only comes by once a day also! I wish I could give this place a negative star review. Where do I begin…. You can tell from any interaction you have with the nursing staff that they were hired out of need. They are not friendly what so ever and take a long time to get you the help that you need. The nursing staff is a joke. You ask for simple things and all they do is avoid you.
