I moved from Texas to Ohio and used American Van Lines. Their services were great. Ron, the driver was exceptional.
My initial impression of North America Van Lines was very favorable. The staff at A-1 Freeman (in El Paso, TX) were also very responsive to my questions. I got quotes from 3 different moving companies; and NAVL’s quote was in the middle. In my case, NAVL’s quote was about $1,200 more than the lowest quote I got. Even so, their price quote guaranteed, guaranteed pickup date, and replacement value insurance coverage, weren't things their lower-priced competitor included. The most miserable experience. Our stuff was packed out June 10th for our military move from El Paso to Kansas City. They said they would deliver June 14–18th. The 18th came and went with NO communication until we called them— unacceptable first of all. They said they didn’t have a driver to take our stuff. WHY WOULD YOU SCHEDULE IT THEN. The customer support lady told us that “this just happens sometimes and we can’t tell ours drivers when to drive”. I’m sorry but a LATE delivery should take priority. We had a wonderful experience with NA Van Lines out of El Paso. Communication was great and everything arrived as expected. All the people were courteous and professional. We would choose them again if the need should arise.
Overall it was a great experience! From day one everyone was very professional and they had excellent customer service and paying attention to every detail. Thank you for all your help.
