Paid $6100 to move from San Diego to northern New Jersey in March 2025. Items were loaded onto a truck on Friday March 7 and arrived Saturday March 15.
Richard Hartsook took the time to review all the items (he could see) that we planned to transport to our new location and he did his best to guesstimate the ones he could not see. Pretty close to the final weigh-in by all accounts. Communication (text, email, phone) with our move coordinator was excellent and any questions we had were quickly and accurately answered. Everyone involved in the move, packing/loading crew, driver and unloading crew were all courteous, efficient and communicative.
Borderline traumatic experience. Shipment 7 days late (past the guaranteed window), zero communication throughout, and at LEAST 10% of our items showed up completely destroyed not including the several boxes missing. If you feel like forking up $8k, and want to throw all of your life's belongings to a pack of wolves who could care less about you, your time, stuff, or livelihood, pick North American Van Lines. They're the experts.
I recently moved across country. The move was overwhelming for me but I took refuge in this company’s efficient and good work, wrapping up my things, boxing them up, and loading them. All the workers were polite, and worked hard. The coordinator kept me abreast of every single move regarding the transport, even provided the truck drivers name & call phone number way ahead of the transfer.
