Normanton is the second retirement home to provide care for my mother. Of course, it is much more than that. My mother is not only safe and well-cared for, she has become part of the family - an atmosphere and philosophy provided by Normanton Retirement Home. Effectively, the staff at Normanton are also providing care and support to me and I am extremely grateful. The level of individual attention and support is simply not found elsewhere. I worked here as a healthcare Assistant and it was a happy and great experience for me, the Matron Ken and Mary are so kind to both their staff and the residents in the home and Samantha the Deputy Matron was so lovely doing hands on supervision daily and taking care to both their residents and staff safety. And all the staff are very supportive and friendly especially to our Manager Dianne Perry.
