Great gifts Norman's is a great place to shop for something to make your kitchen unique or for a gift for yourself or your family to take home after an Alaskan adventure. They sell traditional Alaskan gifts such as Ulu knives, canned salmon, Salmonberry jam, and of course the required T-shirts and fleece jackets. During Christmas season Norman's has the best selection of ornaments and accessories in town to make your tree and home just right for the season. PROS: Great selection CONS:
Nice Gift Store This is a nice all-around gift, novelty, souvenir store. The workers were always pleasant and friendly. Low to mid-priced items. There were a few higher priced pottery pieces but those were about the only "expensive" pieces. They carry a wide variety of Kodiak-clothing, embroidered or screen printed. In the summer, they have an ice cream set up in the back of the store that is open. The middle of the store has a glassed in circular counter where locally made jewelery and soapstone-type carvings are displayed.... read more
