The Normanhurst is a residential care home and nursing home occupying a large corner site overlooking Bexhill's seafront. Lawns surround the buildings with a large garden at the rear. The Normanhurst has been in the same ownership for over 50 years and was the first local residential care home to register with the local authority. We cater for full-time residents, holiday stays, post-operative recuperation and respite care.

Partner telephoned in advance & arranged to see a friend in here- what a waste of time that was !! When she arrived at the designated time her friend was unable to meet her as she was just about to be bathed ! Totally Inconsiderate & arrogant staff with complete lack of communication & for the second time too !
My mother has been in the nursing home since January 2022. When she entered the home she was frail, having been in and out of hospital with pneumonia and other infections. She was unable to walk with her frame, unable to read as a result of eye infections and very, very low. Today you see a very different 98 year old. She walks with her frame, joins in activities, is reading and doing crosswords. This is all down to the fantastic care she is receiving. I cannot speak highly enough of this experience.
I have had a one week respite in the norman hurst and it has been a really good time the staff are absolutely first class I could not ask for any better it's been a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this home and if I need respite again I would not hesitate to go back there again
The staff at the Normanhurst have shown amazing compassion to not only my grandmother but our whole family - I would not hesitate to recommend this care home. The choice of food and regular tea and cakes along with the lovely staff and sea views makes it a perfect home from home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
