My son just returned from an Easter break in Hobart. He gifted me a bag of Norman & Dann Dark Chocolate Coffee Beans. Complaint - the bag was too small (that maybe thrifty son's fault!) Compliment - THE best dark chocolate I have ever had and THE best chocolate coffee beans I have ever had. Booking ticket to Hobart now!
Beautifully decorated shop and so many amazing chocolates. Highly recommend the chilli ones. Best experience was taking the challenge of popping a butterscotch schnapps choc whole, cracking the choc and having it explode in your mouth...and the whiskey variety...have someone ready to video!!! People's expressions are priceless...and it's super yummy 😋
I had a very awkward customer service experience. I felt uncomfortable the entire time, almost like I was inconveniencing them. I asked if they had a medium box of dark chocolate pralines, and the staff member simply said no without offering any alternatives, like putting together a custom box (which other stores usually do). I decided to go with a mixed selection instead and asked if I could choose the ribbon colour, but she made that unnecessarily difficult. BEST CHOCOLATES, INSANELY GOOD! Lisa loves what she does. I could tell because her eyes lit up explaining the origins of her chocolates to me. After tasting it’s clear there’s a lot of love involved. Highly recommend !
We ALWAYS come here for the Cherry Liqueurs (my mother in law is obsessed, literally!!). Norman & Dann is such a lovely shop that shouldn’t be missed. Thank you Lisa for making our daughter’s day Don’t be in a rush when checking out this quaint little store, there’s so much to see and indulge in!
