This was a peaceful experience. The drive was ALL nature, switchback turns, and high up in the mountains. I didn't nose around much but there is a small chapel for worship and a gift shop. There's homemade cheese with different flavors! Pictures, pendants, statues, prayer cards, lotions, chapsticks, necklaces, etc..., sister Mary was so HUMBLE, POLITE, RESPECTFUL, she was a true blessing to speak with. I went to visit that place and I was really pleasantly surprised by that place. I stayed to participate in the hour of prayer and what I can say is that that day was different for me, I breathed so much peace that it is indescribable.
Very secluded location high above the city of Tehachapi. A peaceful chapel for prayer. The gift shop was unfortunately closed during our visit. The pictures show the road to the monastery
