I visited this Nodaway Valley Bank location to cash a legitimate check and experienced some of the most frustrating customer service I’ve encountered at a financial institution. I was asked to provide identification, a fingerprint, and additional personal information. I cooperated with every request without hesitation. After approximately 10 minutes of waiting while employees consulted with one another, worked on their computers, and attempted phone calls, I was informed that they would not cash the check.
