If I could give less than one star I would. I received a waxing on September 10th and was burnt. When I went in a couple of days later to complain, I was told that the instructor that overlooked my waxing and the owner were unavailable. A different aesthetician came to speak to me and told me that it does happen but should heal within a few weeks. I then spoke to another woman in her office, whom I think was the manager. In my personal experience, the financial advisor at NIWE mishandled my student loans, which created a stressful and unnecessary situation. I cancelled attending the program on time because of what I felt was misleading advertising, and I was told I would not be subject to late fees or cancellation fees (other than the $200 registration fee, which I accepted). If I hadn’t consistently called Alberta Student Aid myself, I believe I would have ended up paying over $1,000 due to what appeared to be an error in how NIWE handled t... read more

I was a laser technician student at NiWe, with Danielle as my teacher and mentor. I loved the school, and felt like Danielle was amazing! I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. She is super knowledgeable in lasers (amongst many other things), and has a really great way of teaching and explaining the material. I felt like she really prepared me for real world experience. If you’re interested in this program, don’t hesitate! Danielle and NiWe will take very good care of you!
