Shameless company trying to profit off disabilities. Whereas many services have accepted disability status from multiple services, (Doctors notes, blue badge holders, ect) nimbus is now trying to force companies to ONLY use their more expensive system. They try to advertise this as a free service, but your quickly hit with a £15 fee in order to get an 'access' card that shows your requirements. Absolutely disgraceful company. Extremely invasive assessment process. Terrible communication. It feels like Nimbus are hired by companies who want to discourage disabled people from attending, presumably as it is cheaper if they have to accommodate fewer disabled people. Disgraceful.
I would not advise getting a Nimbus Disability Card from them as you send them your information and 3 weeks later you have no answer back, Bit odd i think and a very poor way to handle people's private information is it, and never answer e mails back, How the hell have the people who run the company got MBE'S if they run it like this poor people communication's ! Attempted to apply for Access card. Told that it is normal practice not to provide +1 for children under 5 as they are equal to non disabled child. After returning details that my 3.5 year old daughter with complex needs relies on other disabled Parents. I really set out how this impacts my daughter and more. Then asked them to reconsider. Access card replied asking me for what appear to state give a more graphic detail of her meltdowns and behaviour in public!
