Nill Bros Sports: smaller is better! Great selection. Great prices. I walk in with my list of things I need and the employees hook me up. I went in for integrated football pants this week and the guy didn't try to sell me the most expensive Nike ones. He knew which ones were good for husky boys and which ones were for skinnier boys. He also went back to look through a new shipment to see if he could find me specifically what I was looking for. I prefer the smaller personalized experience of shopping here.
The place for hockey gear! Nill Brothers is the place to go in KC for hockey gear. Only their 119th location in OP carries it, but they are well stocked with most major companies represented. Selection is good and the prices are comparable to anywhere else. Customer service is the best. Fred is the hockey manager there and he helped us with everything we needed for my son. We also had another young man help us with hockey gear once and he great as he was a hockey player himself and provided us with answers to our questions. ... read more
Nice selection Nice selection for a smaller sporting goods shop. The team counter had catalogs for almost every uniform vendor possible. Ask for Rob if you need your team setup with uniforms. Almost every sport represented here.
Great place 4 softball-so darn far away from the Northland! – Yes, there's a Dick's in Zona Rosa and a Sports Authority just a little farther away, but their selection and service isn't even close to what Nill Brothers offers. I hate having to drive 45-55 minutes, but this is the place to go if you don't want to settle for what the big boxes decide to stock. I really love the MIzuno glove steamer. It's included if you buy a Mizuno glove there and available for an extra charge if you bring in a glove or choose another brand. ... read more
