Nilah is incredibly talented at what she does. She was able to do the alterations for the bridal shower dress, wedding dress (+ veil and neck scarf), and my reception dress, as well as my sister and mom’s dresses for the wedding. They were all perfect, and I mean perfect. I was so nervous because I wanted the fit to be exactly how I wanted, and Nilah was always calm, confident, and knew exactly what needed to be done. Nilah did such a lovely job on my dress, she is a true craftsman. I had a very small wedding so I chose a simpler dress (from The Sample Rack in Philly) and she showed an incredible amount of care and detail to turn it into My dress. She made sure I knew exactly how to bustle it, and lay it for transport so that it wouldn't crease. She is very professional but still seemed genuinely happy for my and my bridal experience and I am so happy to have worked with her. loved Nilah! She is so professional and was able to take in my dress the perfect amount! She was also able to fix the boning of my dress and steam pressed my veil. I also appreciated how the bustle worked and she took a video of how to do it during my final fitting. My dress fit perfectly and was the right length.
Nilah was an absolute lifesaver throughout my wedding process. My dress arrived not only several sizes too big, but completely different from what I ordered — it was supposed to have sleeves and instead came strapless, with no time to reorder. Nilah helped ensure my wedding gown was the one of my dreams. My second look dress as well! I felt like a princess, and Nilah was so reassuring, knowledgeable, and talented. She brought such a calming presence when additional alterations had to be made just weeks before and never made me feel like the job was something she hadn't seen before.
