Nifty came to the rescue when I needed a rental car for the Thanksgiving holiday and no other agencies had availability. The car itself was clean inside/out and drove well. One thing customers should be aware of is that there is a "local driver" policy whereby local folks like myself (anyone without a flight itinerary) are limited to 150 miles per day, so plan your trips accordingly. My agent Donna was very helpful and pleasant to work with.
The staff at Nifty was super helpful! Within 15 minutes of being there i had the paperwork completed and was on the road! Super nice people and again very helpful. Not to mention they shuttle you to and from your location before and after your rental.
Nifty Car Rental was recommended by my hotel and I was delighted by the experience. I can't say enough nice things about the people working at Nifty. They were friendly, helpful, and patient in setting me up with my car. I had a bit of trouble getting access to my reservation information and they took the time to figure it out with me, with no rush or stress. They also called to check in the morning of the reservation and the morning I was dropping the car off, just to make sure we were all on the same page and that I had the info I needed. I hesitated to use these guys a no brand name company. The pick up and drop off was a nice touch - unfortunately there was a lot of construction going on with roads being block our pick up was late. Not only did the compensate us with extra time they said they would work with us on the mileage. We had to go to Lafayette for the day which ate up the 150 miles they give you per day. Nifty Car rental came to our rescue! After prepaying for a car from Budget rental car, we were informed 30 minutes before our reserved pick up time that they did not have a car for us or any car that could fit 5 people until later in the day. We were beyond frustrated since we had planned to get an early start to visit a plantation. Our concierge was able to secure a car from Nifty. The lady and man on saturday were very polite and helpful.
I liked their pick-up and drop-off service. Staying in the French Quarter, we've opted out of renting a vehicle for our 5-day trip. Nifty Car Rental was convenient, people were nice and courteous.
My experience with this location was very good. Rachel assisted me with all of my concerns and issues.
