After getting my first order of long-leaf pine straw, Nicholson Farms is definitely on my preferred supplier list. Their pine straw, pricing, and personnel make for a great value.
If you want the best pinestraw, shop no further. I have had two loads (spreaded) of 200 bales each, delivered Oct. 2024 and April 2025 respectively. They always keep you up-to-date, and are very customer oriented. Their employees are top-notch and accommodating doing a great job of spreading the pinestraw. You will not be disappointed.
We had 50 bales of Carolina longleaf pine straw delivered just one day after I called to order! The pine straw is nice and clean and a pretty "orange" color. The two gentlemen who installed the 50 bales did a great job! It is so nice to have the backyard natural area looking so pretty again. I highly recommend Nicholson Farms, and I'm so grateful that they were willing to make the trip up to Hickory!
I had Nicholson Farms deliver and spread pine needles at my home yesterday! What a transformation! The long red needles are a beautiful mulch around my shrubbery. The spread team did a fantastic job! I couldn’t be happier! Great job all around!
Wonderful produce at competitive prices. Really nice owners. Helpful with carrying heavy produce to the car. Exceptional for quickly answering posted questions and willingness to get special orders if possible. Go spend your $ there. You won't be disappointed! Update: 2024 not as pleased with this season's offerings. Never did find anything I was looking for there this year. I've moved my business to another farm market stand
