Simply the Best Best known for Pastries, coffee, cookies, hang out place, salads, wines, cakes and service. Prices are just right. My favorites: Chocolate tower pastry and Chocolate cookie and of course coffee. They make pretty much everything fresh every morning and some of the stuff doesn't even last till noon. Nichole is a "hands on" owner with a passion for the products she crafts. Let's not forget the wine, music and coffee/tea items. If you haven't been to Nichole's, you're missing out! Nichole's is hands down the best place in Fargo to indulge your sweet tooth. I have always received the best service and desserts. They serve the best creme brulee I've ever had!
We visited Nichole's every week when we lived across the river in Moorhead, MN. This is the best pastry shop we have ever been to in this country and on par with what we experienced in Europe. The pastries were uniformly great, the hard part was deciding which one to get each week, we usually wound up getting extras. My wife loved the tea selection and was thrilled that unlike many places it was always very hot. We make a point of going here whenever we are up visiting relatives.

I went into Nichole's about 30 minutes ago and ordered 2 cream sodas and 2 chocolate croissants. I've been very, very careful about not going out to eat during covid, but thought a quick takeout treat would be safe. Imagine my disappointment when the gal working the register took my order, had me give her my debit card to pay (versus having one of the square readers where I could insert my card myself), and had me sign the receipt, with a pen I watched her grab out of the bucket labeled "dirty." Brought 2 new friends to my favorite dessert place in N. Dakota. Refused use of bathroom although I was a paying customer. Bavarian chocolate cake was divine, but won't go out of my way to patronize the bakery after this. Unprofessional.
