If you love someone, do NOT let them live here. Hunter's Pointe only cares about their bottom line. They have one elevator in the facility. While it was down, they had NO evacuation plan for the residents who were on the second and third floor. They told everyone to shelter in place - even in the case of a fire, but they neglected to speak with the fire department to work out an evacuation plan for the residents. We’ll as last year the food is no good and the price increase has gone up 8 percent again. They should have sent the same letter out as last year with the reason for the increase. U would think with this kind of increase they would have put some toward the foot. Half the time there no coffee in the despenser. No security at night time so if there is a fire the elevators shut down leaving folks to take the steps if able. I will say there are several activities to do and they have made the inside cleaner.

3 Chef Prepared Meals Daily? What they don't tell you is the food tastes bad and will charge you 5.00 per meal to bring them to customer apartment. Trash Disposal? What they don't tell you is customers must take their own trash out and staff will not clean up areas on the outside room porches. Housekeeping with provided Bed & Bath Linen & Toilet Tissue? Pictures on website misrepresent this facility. Carpet is old and dirty. Food is terrible.

Do not send a loved one here now. I visited my sister there on Sunday, April 24, 2022. I killed one roach running along the wall. Then another. Then another. When I lifted one small picture on the wall there were about 8 roaches taking up residence there. But there were 2 more small photos on the wall-and each had its colony of roaches. My parents lived at the Chateau McKinney for several years (2018-2020) until my mother needed more care. The staff truly cared about my parents. We loved Nicole, the director, she helped us out so many times. She was kind and very knowledgeable about services and ways to help my parents. When the pandemic started she was so very good at keeping everyone informed to the changes being made for everyone's safety. Sue Robinson Sue Robinson I’ve enjoyed an adorable apartment at the Gardens of Wakefield Plantation for the last six months while recuperating from a health condition that left me unable to walk.
