My car’s currently at NGP for an intake manifold and intercooler install. Midway through the job, they called to offer walnut blasting since the manifold was already off; turning a normally $1,100 service into $225. No push or up-sell, just smart timing and transparency. Excellent experience. They replaced the clutch, shifter, brakes, and installed a Stage 1 tune on our MK7 GTI and I couldn’t be happier. Jason’s communication was great and all the parts are above OEM quality. Jason’s recommendations were excellent and I’m glad I took his advice to replace the rear main seal while the transmission was out. A friend of mine recommended NGP and I would do the same. I guess I am an outlier here. The shop is as described, gorgeous. The staff is professional in person. However, the execution left a lot to be desired. They called me at 6 on Friday to tell me my car would be ready on Monday. Could've arranged an after hour drop box or given me a heads up rather than lock my car up for the weekend. The car looked good when I got it, they didn't wash it or anything but that's okay, I didn't pay them too. I was on a concall when I got the car, so I didn't notice the ominous ( and new) clicking... read more
