If I could give this place a zero-star review, I absolutely would. They are the biggest joke of a mental health facility that I have ever seen. Our former child was here for residential therapy, and her therapist was the biggest bitch ever, and I'm pretty certain she didn't have the clinical backing to do the job that she was doing. I did my internship for my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at a behavioral modification academy. As a graduate student, you can't be picky with your choices so when I was accepted I took it. This was the summer, fall, and winter, of 2012 at Gerard Academy in Austin, MN. The levels of abuse at Gerard were extreme and undoubtedly led to permanent trauma . They are run like a cult. if i could give this less then 1 star i would!! never send your child here! All they do is use scare tactics by scaring you to do well.
