Probably one of the worst car rental experiences I’ve ever had. I waited over 1.5 hours just to be served. The attendant, Yader, wasn’t rude, but he kept pressuring me to buy extras like toll packages, prepaid fuel, and additional insurance. Even after I showed proof of my existing Progressive coverage, he claimed that in that case, they would need to hold a $2,500 deposit. My friends and I rented a Nissan Pathfinder 8/8-8/11. The car itself was nice, but had major issues. There was no tire pressure cap on the rear left tire, and the trunk would not open or close, making it harder for us to load and unload our luggage. As a result, we kept getting a tire pressure warning and kept filling air in the tire. Not sure if it was the sensor or not, but if it wasn't, that would be the main cause. This company is a scam. We had a very upsetting experience at this location. After a long day of travel, we arrived around 9:30 pm thinking our reservation was straightforward — about $80 for two days, no surprises. At the counter, the representative asked if we had purchased insurance through the app. We explained that we declined because the website gave us the option and we also have a CitiBank credit card that covers rental insurance.
