I hired Newsome Melton Law Firm to handle an estate matter. At first the boss didn't want my case. Then they asked if I was still interested in them representing me. We entered into a contract and they started working. They told me they were going to open litigation and they never did. After 4-5 months they just walked off which was extremely unprofessional. Zero Stars. Trusting this firm to take over as counsel on a very complex product liability case after using a different firm for a year prior was one of the worst decisions I could have made. Newsome and Melton are quick to pressure you into signing a retainer and then you won’t hear from them for months.
