Worst mortgage company I've ever dealt with. Anytime you call in to discuss your escrow or mortgage, they start the call off by telling you they're bill collectors and treat you like you're some deliquent that hasn't paid your bills even though you've never once had a late payment. When you ask what is wrong with your escrow account, there are no answers. The lady literally told me it wasn't their job to pay my taxes and insurance...even though it literally IS their job because it's all in escrow. We had absolutely no issues... read more
Horrible company. I ended up stuck with this company because of an error by a mortgage servicer prior and they have compiled the errors never correcting any.I've been improperly charged, overcharged, mischarged and ignored. They are now currently trying to raise my payment because they have never corrected my escrow, where there is a major error there are months of payments not even applied to my mortgage loan from prior servicers that were never transferred and they refuse to add them. Love being charged 30.00 per for a person to cone by and take pictures from the road of my house. These companies make more then I could imagine and they have the home owner pay this. Then I refused to may it, I had to pay it to make extra payments on my principal. Corporate nonsense. Like you going to start charging the customer to call in and ask a question as well??. Oh and not to mention when you talk to a real person, the recite the " we are a debt collector and this is an attempt to collect a debt" speal. Makes me feel... read more
Three months in a row I've gotten payments returned despite plenty of funds to cover the mortgage payments.... Then they charge me a late fee. The first time was due to their website crashing apparently, so they returned the late fee, but now two more subsequent times its happened. I don't think my Bank thinks they are a real company or something.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My mortgage was purchased by Newrez a few years ago. I don't escrow taxes or insurance, so I haven't had any issues with them until now. I have an insurance claim for my roof and they are very difficult to work with. I've had to call them 5 times, and I'm still getting very poor service. I had to send my insurance check for their endorsement, and included a pre-paid FedEx return label to expedite this per their instructions.
