I came out here specifically to write a bad review for NewRez but I see that I am going to be accused of piling on. No matter - their communication is horrible. They used to send notifications each month to say when my statement was available. Those disappeared 3 months ago even though no changes on my end. I have been a customer for 3 years now & I pay my mortgage old school by mail when I get my statement each month. I had been doing this for two years usually two weeks early each month. My credit score was well over 800 & my credit history was excellent over the last 20 years without one single missed payment. Disappointed!!!!! I received a notice of renewal from my insurance mid August so I called and was assured payment would be made on or before the due date " im sure you can see where this is going" payment wasn't made i called again the 2nd of Sept where I was again told it was an oversight and would be handled asap Cidy said she would OVERNIGHT the payment " again you can see where this is going" it is now the 10th of Sept I'm currently on hold and have been for 50 minutes . I've called customer service 5 times and emailed the company 3 times. They have not been able to resolve my issue. It's a simple issue... My bank account number has been saved in their system twice, their system does not like that. Anytime I try and make a one-time payment or update my monthly auto payment amount the system gives me an error saying that my bank account is in there twice cannot complete request. I recently tried to get a home equity loan on my home because every time I would call concerning another matter that would ask me if I wanted to apply. And finally I decided to try my loan officer screwed up the paperwork. Khalil Clark put down on the paperwork that I cleared $4,500.00 a month when I clearly told him maybe $2,500.00 but it was only $2,068.00 a month.
