My brother and I had a fantastic experience with Newport Marine Outfitters. Deb, Mike, and Cade are absolute pros and very easy to work with. They recently completed an extensive electronics suite on our Southport 27, including dual Garmin MFDs, new radar, autopilot, and underwater lights. They also fixed our Fusion stereo and installed a new GPS antenna. Their communication is excellent, and their technical expertise is obvious. If you want the job done right, this is the team to see!
Outstanding service! Mike and his assistant were actually packed up and leaving another job in the marina at end of the day to start their 4th of July weekend- I was having engine issues- I flagged him down and begged him for help as I needed the boat repaired for my overnight B&B business. Deb and Cade from Newport Marine Electronics offered expert advice over the phone which helped me fix a major Raymarine problem without the need to go alongside or ask a technician to visit Leventeia. This was superb service! I'll certainly pass on a strong reference to anyone needing electronic service for their boats.
Newport Marine, outfitters and electronics. They are my go to for any future electronics purchases. They are extremely knowledgeable with all the products that they sell. I recently purchased the Garmin XM Weather, and had no problems, installing it with the expert advice of the staff with my multiple phone calls, which they answered every time and was extremely helpful and friendly.
