My husband had a very thorough skin inspection. Unfortunately I wasnt given the same. Only one side of my face was looked at and I expressed concerns about my head and blemishes and moles on my head. Unfortunately again it was not inspected. This was our first ever cancer check and for the cost we expected a more thorough check. It appeared to be more about the money than anything. I was very impressed by the thoroughness of the skin check and by the willingness of the doctor to look at all the various spots I had noticed and explain what they are, their causes and what can/can’t/needed to be done about them. I did not feel rushed or brushed off.
I’m very grateful to Dr. Neil Macpherson for performing my skin lesion excision. He was extremely professional, kind, and gentle — I sincerely appreciate it.
