I have nothing positive to say about this practice. Their costs are deceptive and blatantly dishonest. My insurance had an exclusion, like many do, but I needed a hernia repair so I was told that my upfront costs would be 4 grand, so I booked a surgery date. Well, that number changed weekly; it went from 4000 to 5700 to 6000 to 6300 to 8000 to 8700. They could not get an accurate quote in a reasonable time. Dr Hodges and the receptionist were super nice. The nutritionist/ office manager was very dissapointing. I will not go back.

I had gastric bypass in December of 2015. I weighed 235 and I was miserable. I am an elementary school principal and I couldn't keep up with my kids. All I wanted to do was sleep. I had to use a CPAP machine at night and I had arthritis in my hands, knees and feet. It hurt to even walk around the school building everyday. Two and a half years later, I am a new me! In early 2017 I made the decision to finally do something about my 30 year battle with weight and I chose New You Bariatrics to partner with me on that journey. At my first appointment, I admitted to having no clue about weight loss surgery, insurance, or even whether this was a viable option for me.
