Most terrible experience ever. The guy came and left two huge pieces of the couch unattached. After repeated messages, we still haven’t heard anything back except “ will call when we are ready”. This is after they took the whole amount for the services.

On my recent move I needed some help with disassembly removal, transport and install my antique Pool Table at my new residence. The New York Couch Doctor came to the rescue, Dr Sal wrote the prescription and took care of the Table!! I totally recommend “Dr” Sal and his professional team!!!

I mistakenly hired Sal from New York Couch Doctor thinking he was the reputable “Dr. Sofa” who had disassembled, reassembled, and moved my couch before. I sent Sal photos, exact sofa dimensions, and both addresses well in advance. He quoted me $400–$800 but refused to give a firm price. When he arrived, he immediately claimed the couch was “bigger and nicer” than expected and jumped the price to $1,250. Only then did I realize he wasn't the original company. He is a knock off. I reached out to the NY couch doctor to disassemble and reassemble my new couch because it didn’t fit into my building elevator. The guy quoted me $450-$850, I was in a bind, so I booked them thinking max I would pay was $850. I was happy with how quickly they arrived and the positive attitudes of the team members. The team worked quickly (complete in 2 hrs) and executed perfectly. But then their boss said it would cost $1000! DON’ T USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER — WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. THEY DESERVE 0 STARS. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider. Couch Dr. New York took over two months to return my barstools, despite originally saying the repairs would take just two weeks. They were nearly impossible to reach—ignoring calls and texts for days or even weeks.
