In June 2025, I experienced the hard loss of my little brother. With no clue what to do to close his estate, I reached out to NM Probate and Estate Lawyers. Will and Kevin answered my questions quickly and within days progress was being made. I honestly expected to pay double than what I did and in closing I received a check back for unused funds. At the end of the process, I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.
They advertise "free consultation". When you submit your case, you get a boilerplate response saying: " Unfortunately, we have determined that we are not able to assist you at this time, as we are currently at capacity with our caseload. However, if you would like to schedule a paid consultation, we would be willing to help you think through your legal issues and answer your questions. Paid consultations are $300." They are at capacity, unless you want to pay, then magically they have capacity. Seems odd to me.
NM Probate Lawyers are top notch! I had an unusual situation, and the legal counsel, advice, and navigation through the process by these folks was beyond exemplary, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I highly recommend them!
