My 84 year old father visited my mother in this hospital and after 2 hours they informed him she tested positive for covid a few days before. They exposed him to the virus. They refuse to “admit” my mom so my dad has to pay for her being there, even though she has insurance. Total negligence.
Was just there this morning and I was unaware that the covid patients in the er were not keep separate from patients with injuries. I was told that they don't have enough room which is not a good excuse they are not even putting them on one side of the room. There was no one cleaning the chairs after someone sat in them four different people sat in one chair one with covid symptoms and no one ever cleaned it so they are just helping speard it. Absolutely horrible hospital! My mom has been in and out of the hospital the last several months for liver failure. On one of her visits the nurse slapped her on the arm and leg for not rolling over in the bed correctly. So then we started sending her to Gainesville because my mom was scared to go to Braselton. This last time she had to be taken to Braselton because of the Covid situation. We try to call up there and check on her but it’s a busy signal or someone picks up and hangs up the phone. RecommendedThey did an amazing job of taking care of my 15 year old who ended up with appendicitis which resulted in an emergency appendectomy. From the er staff to the nurses on the third floor we received excellent care especially given how crowded the hospital is at the moment. Dr. Walker made sure to answer all the questions that we had about his surgery; I can’t say enough how amazing the entire staff was while we were there. They truly do not get enough credit for all that they do.
HORRIBLE staff and communication! My dad is 85 years old and is in the Hospital with pneumonia from COVID-19. My Mom has been trying to find out his condition from a Doctor or Nurse for almost THREE DAYS! They WILL NOT answer the phone. When they do answer, she gets transferred and then they hang up or a busy signal. They have not called her ONE time with an update! This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Whoever runs this Hospital is a disgrace and should be ashamed.
Be sure to bring exact change because they don't have it and will refuse service and cancel your appointment if you can't go to a store and buy something to bring back exact change! seems like management isn't good at managing if they don't have capabilities of taking cash and providing change at a place of business that needs your copay every visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please don’t ever go here. The nursing staff will not come when you need them. Also, if you come in with a very painful infection, they’ll refuse to give you the antibiotics you need, apparently. $1500 plus bill and they’ve done nothing. Nobody should be treated this way. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy.
