The man is a thief. Stole the springs from my chairs and replaced with foam. Unfortunately because they are dining chairs it took me a bit to figure it out, if you must use this deceitful man, take pictures of your furniture before he steals what makes your furniture quality. Karma!
I would not recommend anyone to this establishment. Garnet is rude and unreliable. An appointment was arranged for work I had requested to be done and he did not show at the shop. Cried the blues of how busy he was and had to deal with errands, etc Very unprofessional. .
I called Garnet to re-cover my Acura RDX centre leather console armrest. I needed the job done quickly as I live up north and was only in town for the day. I was able to drop off the armrest at 2pm, it was done by 6pm! My armrest looks better than when it was brand new from the dealer! He did a FANTASTIC job! Great service with a smile. I highly recommend Garnet for any residential, automotive or nautical upholstery needs.
Two months ago I found Garnet, seemed like a good guy so asked him to bolster padded chair bottom with better foam and suggest how to fix or re enforce cracked plywood bottom. We talked mostly about foam options. He said he could reglue/repair wood...$50. Done in a couple days, went and picked it up, paid, and noticed the cushioning felt the same...he said "thats the same foam, its ok, I didn't change the foam". We had animals chew through a few of our outdoor cushions and thought we might have to throw them out. Garnet was able to save them for us with some expert repair work! Very courteous and professional, excellent customer experience.
