I have a picture window with two side windows that span almost ten feet. The cords on my old hand-pull-down blind, which spanned this distance and had worked for 17 years, had broken and there was no replacement to be found at this width. New England Home & Interiors advised three separate blinds, to which we agreed. Their measurements took only minutes. I had never worked with a designer before, but needed expertise to harmonize renovations in our family home with aspects that we were not structurally changing but needed updating, and to make our own.
