20+ year member and refused to work with me on o simply have a well drilled. Very impersonal, very unprofessional, took 3 appointments and 2 credit pulls for them to deny without ever looking at the property. Highly recommend against what this bank has become.
Horrible Service. Stranded at hotel in Austria waiting to check out after a week’s vacation, had our travel notice activated, had plenty of money in the account, but EastRise would not process the charge. Called customer service (not EastRise) and was very helpful, but they were not authorized to allow the charge. I had to wait 6 hours for someone to call me back from EastRise and they provided absolutely no help. She did mention that she wasn’t available because of the time difference. Sara Wright has been excellent,she definitely went above and beyond to make sure we understood everything that was going on.
I knew that the merger would lead to more BS. I learned today the credit union would make me wait 9 days to access deposits. We all know it takes banks milliseconds to exchange funds between banks. This is just an abuse. I moved to the credit union to escape excessive fees and abusive policies. Now I have to try and find a different smaller credit union.
I worked for NEFCU for over 20 years. Sill a member, but disappointed in their service. It saddens me because this was a fantastic place to work and to do business. I retired and moved, keeping my membership, but rethinking that due to the fact it took over 3 weeks to open a CD last December. I was frustrated because it took so long.
