I worked for NEFCU for over 20 years. Sill a member, but disappointed in their service. It saddens me because this was a fantastic place to work and to do business. I have been a NEFCU member for a long time, I have my mortgage through them as well. Since the merger, I have had nonstop issues. My NEFCU issued debit card wouldn't work at their ATMs and I had to get a new card which meant I had to update all of my automated payments. I have had to send my insurance information to them at least 7 times in the last year because they keep telling me that I do not have insurance and there will be legal issues with my mortgage if I don't supply it. I was a member of NEFCU. I currently live out of State but wanted to look at refinancing a car loan. The agent we met with was Joy. We did not have all the information we needed, but Joy was not easy to work with. Her way of questioning was not helpful and she seemed confused as to why we would come there to get a loan. We will look to work with a credit union that seems like they want our business.
Never had any issues. All autopay services adjusted just fine, and scheduled deliveries are adjusted forward to make sure they always make the planned delivery date. Some great CD promotional rates for a while!
