We landed at New Century Bank after following a good friend's advice. We purchased a few acres and wanted to build a home - it was during the pandemic and lenders for new (second) home construction were not the easiest to find. Phenomenal customer service. I was initially drawn to this company for its Christian values and after talking to a few of the staff members I was really blown away with how helpful and kind they were. Emily helped me out so much. Overall it was a great experience.
They seemed like a good bank for mortgage financing until I compared their fees with another company. New Century was about $1300 higher. I asked New Century to match their fees, but they didn't want to. Be careful, these GREEDY folks will screw you over.
Over the years I have had many dealings with my clients and myself personally with New Century Bank. I can't say enough good things about Alan and Tyler! They are good Christians and go above and beyond to take care of all of your banking and lending needs. Alan is truly an inspiration to everyone who meets him! The whole staff has wonderful customer service and they really strive to make your experience personal and exceptional. I definitely recommend them if you're looking to build or buy your next home!
