NOT THE BRENTWOOD LOCATION I took out a HELOC through New American Funding. I was told it was going to be a certain amount and asked specifically if I only take out (X) amount, can I take the rest later? They said yes. The money came in and it was not the correct amount. The first person, Greg Martinez, would not return my calls, texts, or emails. A month later I called to talk to someone else. If I could give them zero stars I would. Existing customer was told I wouldn’t have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get refinanced. They lied. They are expensive and good luck getting customer service to help. Been two weeks into requesting to speak with a manager. Spoke to no less than five representatives who assured me they would be in touch. My closing is today and I am going to skip it and go to a different company. The experience has been that bad.
Gerry was very helpful, patient, & responsive with me for 2 years until I finally closed on home with him.
