March 2026 UPDATE: My previous review was 5 stars, but due to serious issues with orders we were billed for but never received — as well as orders that were shipped months late — we have had to significantly downgrade our rating. 2400 Shipping & receiving is in the front hwy 377. Lots of space in the front I bet you could get away with sleeping there. In a door or off to the side. Fcfs.
The service is really hit and miss. 1 they've never and I mean NEVER arrived on a delivery date on time! The delivery dates are usually for a Monday or Tuesday they arrive on a Wednesday or Thursday sometimes Friday. Like they make their own schedules or something. We're running a business get us our product on time!! Two the inconsistency of deliveries! Recently there was 3 shipments we had to call about because we didn't receive any of them. I run 2 small pet shops in Houston, TX and I work with Nelson Wholesale regularly. In my honest opinion, they’re really quite good. I think the majority of their customer base are feed stores… And I’m not a feed store. I’m a small animal shop focused on cats. But even then the Customer Service is always great and the deliveries are always timely and I rarely have problems.
