As a borrower, wouldn't recommend. They say that it's an open mortgage after 3 months but they have a weird rule that you can only get out on payment dates, was not told in advance. Feels a little predatory as interest charges will obviously be added on in the final payout if there are any delays out of your control, I'd look elsewhere.

Never missed a payment, got out of this mortgage on maturity date, got charged ridiculous amount for admin fees. Variable rate here also means the interest rises when bank rates rise but never comes back down when bank rates fall.

Tight timeline (no problem) - no separation agreement (no problem) one of the smoothest closings that I can remember (no problem) - Thank You Guys (Diego and Andy) and talk about a great MIC...

We needed help quickly for an out of province property, where bank financing fell through. Calls to a few lenders were made. Neighbourhood (Jared S) were most helpful. A better than expected deal materialized fast. It was a big relief to have found them.

Neighbourhood Holdings is a predatory lender that trys to add money to your outstanding balance. Never get into a loan with them.
