The entire process is a joke. I joined based on a recommendation from a friend. I was qualified (it was 6 months in the past) and everything went smoothly and I was house searching but the area I was interested in was either above budget or above the 100% median income. I later started the process again to get re-qualified, mind you my finances were way better then it was when I was previously qualified, and their team would take a week to respond then come back saying not enough funds. Im posting this review to tell everyone how naca has helped me so far. Im only on step 2 but my counselor Ms. Romelle Clinton has been very patient with me, with getting all my paperwork in, and answering all my questions to make it understandable, so the process will be easy for me
I’ve been working with naca to help us find the perfect home and they are absolutely wonderful
The naca first homebuyers program takes time persistence and alot of patience. You have to have consistent communication with the counselors that have your file. Ask a bunch of questions and do everything they are requesting of you. The timeline of Homeownership through this program is tailored to each individual case but its definitely worth it. The interest rates are great the information you recieve on Homeownership is great. If your looking to become a homeowner naca is definitely the program for you.
