I meet Tyrone Wilson, at the Farmers Market Vouchers distribution in Kingstree SC, a few years back he was talking about driving seniors to appointments, I thought it was something I would like to try, so here I am three or four years later, taking seniors to Drs Appt, grocery shopping, paying bills and getting something from a restaurant or other fast food. I enjoy talking with them about different things, bible, other events going on in the world. Glad to be of service to seniors.
I have taken photos for N2N before, and they are an amazing organization! The staff and volunteers are amazing, making a difference with everyone in need (seniors, individuals with disabilities, etc). Thank you, N2N, for all you do! I enjoy volunteering my time with you by taking photos for your events!
I love volunteering with Neighbor to Neighbor. I feel good about helping others, which makes them feel good. N-2-N assists so many counties and neighborhoods. They provide rides, pantry deliveries, and wellness phone calls to check in on how someone is doing. So many people are lonely, and that call or visit makes a difference. They have companion visits to spend time with a family member while the caregiver goes to an appointment. N-2- N is a great agency.
An amazing nonprofit that helps seniors and the disabled connect with volunteers to find transportation to medical appointments. In addition, they offer pantry deliveries, wellness check in calls, and companions for seniors. Im 34 and legally blind and they have helped me get to many medical appointments. Such friendly staff and volunteers.
