Unfortunately, my experience with NDSCS has been consistently frustrating. The bookstore routinely does not have required textbooks in stock at the start of the semester, leaving students scrambling or falling behind through no fault of their own. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SIGN UP FOR! They’re misleading to fill their classes, and get your money, but then don’t disclose that there will be 200+ miles of driving for “state mandated labs.” When signing up for this CNA class, they advertised a local Jamestown class with labs provided in Jamestown, with absolutely ZERO mention that there’s a chance a weekly commute to FARGO would be necessary. 200 miles a week, a full tank of gas in our car, for 5 weeks, and we were NEVER ONCE warned that this was a possibility.
