1 star is for location, they treated my son like he was robbing the place,had to call his boss to confirm check elderly teller was rude to him also, the manager stood behind him as if he's blocking the door,all the tellers were speaking to him rudely at the same time!!! Check finally cashed but elderly teller was giving him dirty looks the whole time,stay far away from this bank,far far away
I’ve had zero issues with NBT Bank itself, but I’ve had multiple issues with tellers at this particular branch (wire transfers, cancelling a few accounts). I recently learned that one of the tellers I dealt with was a manager. Once I discovered that, it made sense that this whole branch is operating subpar and lacking basic communication skills.
