Worst bank ever. I am being charged $50 a month to make 3 bank transfers from my savings to checking.... It takes them weeks to clear pending charges... And, the cherry on top of this crap sandwich is that they hit.my bank account twice for my rent, overdrafting my checking by $937... Yeah. Stay away..... Far, far away..... This is a bank for the Epstine class. Not for every day human beings.
In 2011, before Equity bought out NBC Bank, my spouse and I opened a 5 year CD for our then 3 year old grandson with $3k in it. He was not to have access to it until age 18, per court order, due to guardianship reasons (we had legal guardianship of him). We spoke with two representative with NBC and Equity in late 2024 when the Equity buyout was announced.
