I attended the small claims hearing after Dillon Timmer filed a case against us over disputed legal fees. The dispute was over billing we believed was excessive. In court, the judge stated on the record that the charges appeared “on the heavy side” and reduced the amount by exactly half. It was surprising to see a billing disagreement escalate to litigation.
