The lady I met with to sign up for an account was amazing. Super nice but at the end of the day seems like they can’t do much once corporate makes decisions. Saw on line that Navy Federal Credit Union had used auto loans with rates as low as 5.59%. My current credit score on the Navy Federal Credit Union app is 815. I love, love, love the Helotes branch. Being new to Navy Federal Credit Union, setting up all the accounts can be overwhelming. NOT at this branch. :) Everyone is beyond helpful and they all have a smile on their face. Building a rapport with a bank was a big deal for me. The inability to deposit cash in the ATM on weekends is extremely inconvenient and behind the competition. Edit 6/22/24: after dealing with more issues with customer service, phone reps not knowing anything, and constant deflecting.....my conclusion is that Navy Fed is the Kmart of credit unions.
