I recommend against doing business at NFCU. These credit unions do not order nor exchange foreign currency, failing the basic functions of a financial institution. My credit unions up north perform this basic task overnight. Additionally, their CD rates are below national average. Save yourself the frustration.
First time using this location. Came today Sunday 11/02 at 2pm to deposit rent money. Deposited $130 cash into checking, atm said “thank you” and completed transaction without giving a receipt. Unusual. So we checked the banking app, did not reflect the $130 deposit on our account. Waited on hold with customer service for over an hour, they also have no record of this transaction. Man oh man. I hate to write this. Why are you still racial profiling in 2025? As a Business account holder at navy and being a member the past 4 years....Why was I held up making a withdrawal. My experience was truly embarrassing because I conduct business here multiple times a month. There's no reason why I had to watch SHALIMAR scan my ID for 90% of our interaction saying barely anything but then request different cards with my name on it and then scan my ID underneath a bluelight again as my money was being dispensed.
